I loved Gospel music so much! This one is my favourite Gospel song. Everyone HAS to agree that this is a music everyone can love. The lyrics are very special, meaningful, deep and, well, merciful. Close your eyes and see the fields of mercy, the skies of grace, fall to your knees, and just praise and worship the Lord Jesus Christ! Be thankful for the amazing love He has brought us.

This music spoke of how much God loved us, how God made us carefully with His hands. And even though we disobeyed countless numbers of Word, He still chose to love us. That is the amazing God. Never condemning.

The chorus described the awesomeness of God's grace for us. His mercy is wider than the fields, and His grace overflowed the skies above us. We are constantly stepping into this field, every breath of air that we breathed, yet we failed to realize that all of this are from God - we failed to live in the presence of God. Jesus has promised He will be with us until the end of time, but do we notice Him throughout our lives? This song encourages us to live forever in His presence. Don't just sing it, mean it. We are fortunate, very fortunate.

No, not fortunate. We are very blessed.

This is one of the songs I love the most, and I just have to start with it!

Part of my 2007's winter list, this song shows how powerful our God is! This song is no longer shouting God is a Miracle Maker, but this song invites God to be the Miracle Maker! No matter where you are, just sing this song, and it'll revive your spirit, because you are calling on God to bring to you another breakthrough.

At the first sight, this song title seems not appealing. I was a new-born at that time, and I just couldn't understand the meaning of a "breakthrough". Eventually, I bought the cd, and I have never regretted. It was one of the best songs. It is difficult to sing, yes. Even until now, the lyrics are still jumbled up in my mind. But the meaning of the lyrics - just reading through it - is amazing and awesome! =)

Fields of Praise

I guess I must post something first before starting anything.

Hi all! I'm Andrew. First and foremost, I must admit that, even though I'm not that good at it, I love blogging and writing. In my primary and secondary school, English was one of the worst subjects I scored. But oh well... I like to think of writing as a challenge, as a lesson, as an expression.

And there's nothing better than to express what I love. Or whom I love (or is it "who"? =p).

I love music, undoubtedly. I cannot play any instruments, and my voice is not that great. But still, God said to make joyful sounds unto Him! Sounds are anything. It doesn't have to be voices. And I guess that's why Jesus came for everyone - even the dumb.

Anyways, "Fields of Praise" blog is created to, hopefully, show the great music (according to me) in the Christian world. I used to listen to normal rock songs last year, but now, I barely listen to any of them (only when I stumble across them in talk shows). I want to share all the new (and old) songs to everyone who love music too.
